Kendra Elledge
Instrument:  Viola

A native of Blue Grass, Iowa, Kendra Elledge has performed in concerts in Iowa, Illinois, New York, Minnesota, and Costa Rica. Kendra Elledge holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Iowa where she studied viola with Dr. Julia Bullard. During college Kendra Elledge was active in both instrumental and vocal music, was a student conductor for the Northern Iowa Children’s Choir, worked with the orchestra at Malcolm Price Laboratory School, volunteered for the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Art Center in education and community outreach, and worked at Interlochen Arts Camp. Prior to college, Kendra Elledge studied viola with Michele Nemmers and performed with the Quad City Youth Symphony and the Augustana College Symphony.

Kendra Elledge is currently active in the music community in Muscatine and around the state of Iowa. Kendra Elledge is the director of the Muscatine High School Orchestra and the Muscatine 5th Grade Orchestra. She also instructs applied violin and viola for Muscatine Community College and has a private violin and viola studio. Kendra Elledge currently serves as the Eastern Iowa Representative at Large for the Iowa String Teachers Association (ISTA) and is a member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA). Kendra Elledge currently lives in Muscatine, Iowa with her husband, Michael, and their cat, Oscar. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running, dancing, cooking, traveling, and photography.
