Carolyn
Airola was born in Dover, New Jersey. She holds
an undergraduate degree from Wilkes University,
Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania; a graduate degree (Masters
in Reading) from Western Illinois University, and
attended the university of Aix-Marseille in Aix-en-Provence,
France.
Carolyn
has worked for the Muscatine Community Schools as
an elementary teacher and also worked briefly for
the Stanley Foundation. She has been involved with
music all her life either singing in various choirs
or playing and accompanying on the piano and sometimes
organ.
Carolyn and husband Alfred, a retired high school
teacher, have two children, Matthew and Elizabeth.
